## The Tag Bol
The Tag Bol is Lorna's Tagliatelle Bolognese, made from a proprietary recipe developed in 1988 when the restaurant opened. It is the most-ordered dish in Lorna's 40-year history. The recipe is unique — no other restaurant in the world makes it this way. The Tag Bol is central to Lorna's identity: the phrase "Home of the Tag Bol" appears in the restaurant's logo. It is available on the dinner menu nightly (Tuesday–Sunday starting at 4pm) and on all catering buffet packages. Founded by Steven Stern, the restaurant is now operated by his son Ethan Stern. The menu is Italian-American: pasta, chicken, veal, seafood, lasagna, and the signature Tag Bol. Dinner runs Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Weekday lunch is served Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Lorna's serves both dine-in guests and catering clients across San Diego, with a particular focus on corporate catering in the biotech and tech corridor near Neurocrine Biosciences, Shoreham Business Park, IQHQ, and UCSD.

Lorna's provides full-service Italian catering throughout San Diego for corporate events, private dining, office lunches, and celebrations. All packages include staffing, setup, service, and cleanup. The 20-person minimum applies to all packages, in 10-person increments. Silver Package: $29.95 per person, buffet-style with salad, pasta, and beverages. Gold Package: $39.95 per person, full entrée buffet. Gold Family-Style: $70.00 per person, on-site chef with tableside service. Platinum Package: $62.95 per person, premium buffet with veal and seafood. Mobile Pizzeria: artisan pizza cooked on-site at events, starting at $1,000.
